Dirty Films

• Verify Accuracy of Processor Rollers are they Clean & Not Dirty?
• Verify that Processor is Cleaned Monthly as Recommended.
• Verify and Repair Any Questionable Water Problems within the Processor.
• Verify Integrity of Calibration of Processor is Developer Temperature Accurate?
• Verify and Replace All Depleted Developer Chemistry In and Under the Processor.
• Verify and Replace All Questionable or Contaminated Chemistry. Developer/fixer.
• Verify Accuracy of Chemistry has it been Properly Mixed? When was problem Noted?
• Verify Accuracy and Repair any Circulation Problems within the Processor. Check Pumps.
• Verify that Developer In-line Filters are Replaced as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Verify that All Processor Chemicals are Fresh and Rotated or Replaced Monthly.
• Verify that all Processor Drain Lines are Replaced as Needed or Annually.

Stains on Films

• Verify Accuracy of Chemical Replenishment Rates.
• Yellow = Old Exhausted Fixer  
• Diachronic = Bad Chemistry 
• Green = Insufficient Fixing
• Metallic = Oxidized Developer Possibly a water/Fixer/Drain Back-Up Contaminating Developer.
• White-Crystalline = Defective Milky Fixer, Developer Splashed into Fixer, Insufficient Rinsing.
• Grit = Dirty Water or Dirt in Dryer Assembly
