Darkroom:

• Verify Accuracy of Developer Temperature is it Properly Set or Undeveloped/ too Low?
• Verify Accuracy of Thermometer when was the last time it was checked?
• Verify Proper Amount of Chemistry in Tanks is Chemistry Low? Exhausted Developer?
• Verify Accuracy/Calibration of Chemical Replenishment Rates are they set too Low?
• Verify Accuracy of Developer is it Fresh and Properly Mixed.
• Verify Accuracy of Chemical Recirculation in Processor, Check Pumps.
• Verify Accuracy of Developer that it is not Contaminated by Fixer or Water.
• Verify that Processor Main Drain is Properly Working, no Plumbing Issues or Back-Ups.
• Verify Accuracy of Developer is it Fresh or weak, Light or Dark, has it oxidized?
• Verify Accuracy and Calibration of Film to Screens are you using the Proper Film?
• Verify Quality of Film is it a Name Brand or Generic, Check Freshness and Expiration Date.
• Verify Accuracy and Quality of Cassette Screens are they Weak or Questionable?
• Verify that all Cassette Screens are the Same. Check dates and they Cleaned Frequently?
• Verify Accuracy of Film Drive Path in Processor is it Questionable? Belt ever Changed?

X-Ray:

• Verify System Calibration. (kV/Ma/Timer/Focal Distance Off?)
• Verify Proper Line Voltage to System no Transients or Power Surges.
• Verify Alignment of Light to Radiation on System. Call for Service.
• Verify Accuracy of AEC/Automatic Exposure Control and Calibration.
• Verify Proper Centering of Patient to Bucky/AEC Chambers.
• Verify Distance to Grid/Bucky Possibly out of Grid Radius?
• Verify Accuracy of System. How Old Is Tube/Transformer/ Questionable?
