The Golden Rules:
Whenever High Filament currents is used and applied, you Shortened. the Tube Filament Life.
Recommend Minimizing any Prep Time (filament boost) as this deteriorates the Tubes bearings and Filament.
Never Exceed the Maximum Instantaneous Tube Rating, doing so will melt the focal track on your X-Ray Tube.
Recommend Following the Manufacturer Tube Seasoning or warm-up Procedures Chart very strictly.
Any Massive Loads (High Filament Settings) on a Cold X-Ray Anode Target may damage your Tube.
Any Excessive Exposures will overheat and possibly Damage or Warp the anode on your X-Ray Tube.
Allow Sufficient Cool Down Periods between Exams to help minimize Heat Damage to Tube.
Recommend to have your Cassette Screens Checked Frequently by Qualified Service Representative.
Have your Equipment Calibrated Annually to help minimize Filament Evaporation and Wear on System.
